The Roar sounds nothing like the pedals of the past. However, the furious tone of the Roar will surely inspire creative players to find their own voice. The Roar can be used as a booster, vintage-style fuzz, or as a completely new type of distortion for all-new, never before heard effects. As the name implies, with the Roar knob cranked it produces thunderous, destructive crunch while still maintaining sonic integrity. When the Roar knob is set low, it acts as a fat booster with booming low end when gently attacked and light crunch with a hard pick attack. Some components used inside the Roar are very hard to find and constant supplies of these components cannot be expected. These components are then hand-picked for consistency and thus making the Roar is very time-consuming. This is the single biggest reason why a limited number of the Roar will be made. Only 100 pieces of the Roar were sold in the USA.
